I can't stand studying alone; I tend to get distracted far too easily. So, I learn best by throwing ideas around with others. I like the open discussion that often leads to new ideas and it helps to keep me on task. I have a very similar attitude while in a class. I prefer classes that are open to debate with the entire class rather than just sitting listening to a lecture. I am notorious for falling asleep in the latter situation. I suppose in general I like to be an active student.
