Through the Eyes of the Lens

I created a collage inside a “lens”. Looking inside the lens of Steve’s mind, images of a part of his life that he never intended to have, consume his thoughts. I believe throughout the book, Steve struggles with the idea of being guilty or not-guilty. Being called a monster by the prosecutor is when I believe Steve first develops this sense of self-doubt and guiltiness. I also believe this sense of doubt follows him far long after he's given a verdict of not-guilty... Steve's lawyer and his own father portray suspicion and uncertainty in him, also leaving Steve more uncertain of himself.
