Response:
I think doing the survey is pretty accurate. I do find myself to be a bodily kinesthetic learner. I like to be active in my learning, and the more hands on I am I find it easier to make a connection between what I am learning and what I am doing. Another aspect of this survey that I found correct was the Interpersonal aspect. I always seem to find myself helping others, or being able to understand others problems even if they do not express their feelings. I usually find myself in the middle of a lot of arguments having to be the “peace maker” to end a situation. My Intrapersonal skills are dead on however. I know how to set goals and organize myself in order to achieve that goal. I am always aware of my inner feelings and how that may or may not be portrayed in what I do, even with learning. I know that if I am feeling a certain way, or know that I have mixed feeling about an assignment I know different ways to approach it without getting upset and prolonging what needs to be done. The final skill that was clearly a high score was Linguistic. I find that I like to be in logical arguments and know what others are thinking and make my views clear with others. I find that I can be easy to get along with and I do find myself making and gaining the trust of many of my friends, and building different relationships with each of them. I found that all the learning styles that stuck out really do describe me the best. I find that this could be really reliable in the classroom in order to learn about your students and then tailor your assignments, assessments and activities to how your students learn.
