This is my LENS 2, created for Monster. Obviously, I went with the transmedial option this time. Below the picture is a short explanation of what this collage/art/picture/thing is meant to portray (but is, of course, open to more interpretation).
This is meant to be the jail that Steve is staying in. Steve (the yellow clock) was taken into jail because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He was also taken because he looks like the other criminals that were arrested. He is a clock like the others--but just because they are all clocks does not mean they are all the same. I think that the justice system was pretty crooked when it came to Steve's case (represented by the crooked jail bars); they did not have any solid evidence but criminalized him anyway and grouped him with similar-looking criminals. As Steve's lawyer said her job was to "make him seem human in the eyes of the jury," I gave the Steve-clock hands to grab the bars with.
